FJÄLLBAGGEN

In the course Communicative packaging project at Mid Sweden University, the brief was to make use of the sustainable protein source that is insects. We were asked to create a visual concept and packaging design for an edible product containing insects.

We created the brand Fjällbaggen, which is the swedish word for stink bug. It's a brand focused on delivering high quality foods with a focus on sustainability when it comes to food and packaging. The products contains the high-protein stink bug that is freeze dried and a nut-mix with roasted stink bugs.

The prototype is hand-cut and constructed by hand.
